Chiefs’ Pro-Bowl DE Frank Clark has been charged with felony possession of an illegal firearm, per TMZ Sports. Clark, who was arrested in Los Angeles on June 20th, is now facing up to three years in prison if he’s convicted. Clark, 28, was initially pulled over for a traffic violation when officers noticed a bag with an Uzi sticking out.
Clark claimed the gun was not his and that it belonged to a member of his security team.
In March, Clark and another man, Charles Smith, were arrested after officers observed and recovered two loaded firearms inside the vehicle during a traffic stop, per @thekansascitystar. The Chiefs have not issued a statement on either offseason arrest.
