Former 1st round CB pick Gladney dies

Breaking: Cardinals’ CB Jeff Gladney was killed in a car crash early this morning in Dallas, his agent Brian Overstreet confirmed.

The Dallas County Sheriff’s Department said two people were killed when a vehicle crashed and overturned around 2:30 AM.

Officials later confirmed that it was a male and a female that died in the accident. The female’s identity has not been disclosed.

Investigators suspect the white vehicle was speeding when it clipped another vehicle from behind, lost control and crashed.

Gladney, 25, was selected by the Vikings with the 31st overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Gladney signed with the Cardinals on March 16th.
