Former Giants HC Jim Fassel passed away Monday night at the age of 71.








Fassel suffered a heart attack while under sedation at a hospital near his home in Las Vegas, per @latimes.

Fassel served as the Giants’ head coach from 1997-2003. He was named NFL coach of the year in 1997 and led the Giants to three playoff berths during his tenure. Fassel was also a longtime NFL assistant, holding offensive coordinator roles with the Giants, Broncos, Cardinals and Ravens.
